Survey FDIR (Fault Detection, Isolation, and Recovery) is a new technology for reducing your MWD survey Ellipse of Uncertainty (EOU) while drilling.

Survey FDIR is derived from automated navigation routines used on the latest generation of manned spacecraft, where speeds can top 5.5 miles per second during safety critical phases of flight. Application of these routines to downhole MWD survey data in real-time yields the most accurate well-to-well spacing available.
